Our Vintage Radio Chicken Coop is our latest design intended to brighten up any garden in 2025.

It not only looks distinguished and retro, but it also has features not seen on other plastic coops on the market.

Firstly it’s made of recycled plastic in the UK. This material is more expensive than wood, but performs far better by lasting longer (think decades). Also it won’t need any maintenance (so no annual annual painting of wood preserver), plus just give it a brush and hose down and it will look as good as new. Compared to the multitude of hiding places in a tongue-and-groove wooden coops, these slippy panels make it almost impossible for Red Spider Mite to get a hold. If they do, then just wash the coop out and it will dry in no time.

Ease of Use

So rare on so many other competitor’s coops, but this coop is super easy to clean out. Just unclip the small slotted panel on the front and slide out the entire floor. However if you also want access from above, both roof panels can easily be unclipped to gain good access.

Perches

Even though they look like wood, the perches are also made out of strong, long-life plastic. So again, hygienic and easy to clean

Manual Door

We’ve hidden our round door so it neatly opens and closes inside the coop. When open, the green door disappears, and when shut the door locks in front of door guards so the door can’t be forced open by predators.

As standard, the coop comes with a length of rope that attaches to the door from the inside. This is then fed through a hole and knot catcher on the side panel so the door can easily be locked open and closed by pulling or unclipping the rope. We also supply a blanking plate to cover the aperture of the optional ChickenGuard Pro. This auto-door opener can always be fitted at a later date.

Optional Auto-Door

Instead of having a bulky auto door opener spoiling the outside, we’ve also integrated an aperture and screw holes to perfectly fit the latest Chicken Guard Pro auto-door opener into the front panel. As an optional extra, we can also supply a Chicken Guard Pro.

Egg Factory

To get to the egg factory, unclip two clips and lift of the nest box roof. In case you have a broody bird, we’ve built in two nest boxes - which can be rare for a coop of this size

Ventilation 

The two-part curved roof and hidden ventilation below create a smooth hygenic air-flow straight through the coop which keeps your birds happy and healthy, plus cool in summer. Further ventilation is provided on the front panel.

Delivery

We aim to ship your order the day after you place it. We use a variety of carriers depending on the size and weight of your parcel or pallet.  Although we can’t guarantee it, we book a 48 delivery service (week days only). Please let us know if you need an item any faster and we’ll see what we can do.

Flat-Packed

This item arrives flat-packed but it is relatively easy to put together. You will just need a mallet and a couple of spanners. 

If you want a ready-made unit delivered on a pallet, just call us to arrange. There is a small charge to cover extra courier costs.
